Beverly E. Easton oral history, 1969.

In this interview, Beverly E. Easton discusses the United States and Canadian sugar beet industries. Topics include: processing sugar beets in Michigan and in Canada, including the distance between refineries and farms and the reasons for the decline of beet refining in this area; his assessment of the New York State sugar beet industry from 1962 until 1969, including his contributions toward establishing test plots and his impressions of PepsiCo's management; and how world trade effects the price of sugar and the relative profitability of cane versus beet refining. Also included are his impressions of Paul Aron and C. DelMar Kearl.
